Dr Naledi Maponopono-Manopi is a Senior Academic Developer specialising in Language and Academic Literacies, with a PhD in African Languages (University of Cape Town, 2026). She has extensive experience in higher education, curriculum development, multilingual education, and academic staff development.
With a strong background in teaching, research, and policy engagement, she has worked across leading institutions including Nelson Mandela University, the University of Cape Town, the University of the Western Cape, and the South African College of Applied Psychology.

Dr Maponopono-Manopi is also the Founder and Director of Inkwenkwezi Language Services and serves as a Board Member of the Pan South African Language Board (PanSALB). Her work focuses on multilingualism, language policy, academic literacies, and the advancement of African languages in education and society.

We offer a range of language translation services

1. Translation Services

We provide professional translation across all eleven South African official languages, as well as international languages including French, Portuguese, Arabic, Mandarin, and Spanish. Our translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and tailored to academic, business, legal, and public-facing content.

7. Conversational South African Language Lessons

We offer practical, conversational language lessons in South African languages for individuals and groups, focusing on everyday communication, cultural context, and workplace language skills. Lessons are accessible, engaging, and suited to professionals, students, and curious learners alike.

2. Interpreting Services

We offer professional interpreting in all South African official languages and selected international languages, suited to conferences, workshops, meetings, and community engagements. Our services ensure clear, inclusive, real-time communication across multilingual environments.

4. Multilingualism Training

We provide specialised training for institutions, educators, and organisations on language policy implementation, multilingual teaching strategies, curriculum transformation, and inclusive communication. Our programmes equip teams with practical tools to work confidently in diverse linguistic environments.

We offer professional editing and proofreading covering grammar correction, structural editing, and academic tone refinement for theses, dissertations, articles, and professional documents. Every document is reviewed thoroughly to ensure clarity, coherence, and readiness for submission.
